Jessie McCarty, Varsity Head Coach

Head Coach Jessie McCarty has been playing Lacrosse since she was 10 years old.  She got her start early in Bethesda, MD where she played for a club lacrosse team and played both lacrosse and field hockey in high school where she was voted MVP, Player of the Year and Coaches Choice.  After high school, she attended Catholic University of America where she was recognized as Rookie of the Year before she decided to concentrate more of her effort toward her architecture education and profession.  She continued to manage and coach lacrosse teams during the remainder of her college years and even played in a post collegiate league and traveling team while obtaining her masters in Denver, CO.  Coach Jessie enjoys designing new homes all over Austin, coaching for Bowie Women's Lacrosse and playing around Texas.



 
 

 
Duane Lardon, JV Head Coach/Varsity Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach Duane Lardon has been involved in girls lacrosse for over 15 years.   He served as the Game Day Administrator for Bowie during the 4 years his daughter played and then 4 more years at Texas State where while his daughter played there.  He continues to help train parents on Game Day Administrator duties in Central Texas. He has served as coach of the Bowie Women's JV Lacrosse team since 2013 and also coaches the Middle School feeder team, Southwest Austin Girls Lacrosse (SWAG), serving 5-8th graders.  His teaching of lacrosse fundamentals is critical to help develop play in young players. 

 
 



Halsey Diakow, Varsity Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach Halsey Diakow joins the Bowie staff having coached at many different levels.  Most recently, she served as the assistant coach for the Israel Women's Lacrosse Team.  Halsey first picked up a lacrosse stick in 2nd grade while tagging along with her older sisters.  In high school, she was a three-year varsity letterman in soccer and basketball and four-year varsity letterman in lacrosse, captaining all three teams her senior year.  After a very successful high school career, Halsey continued her lacrosse career at Cornell University where the team won the first women's lacrosse Ivy League championship in school history and made a NCAA tournament first round appearance.   






Bill Euler, Varsity Assistant Coach/Goalie Coach

Assistant Coach Bill Euler is entering his second season on the Bowie lacrosse staff. Bill brings over 13 years coaching experience at both the youth and high school lacrosse levels, is an active member of US Lacrosse and enjoys impacting the high school lacrosse community through player and skill development.
